Camellia Air Conditioning & Heating Request Service

Camellia Comfort Plan

Two visits a year. Written measurements every time.

A maintenance membership built around one idea: you should be able to see, in numbers, that your system is running the way it’s supposed to — and catch the drift before it becomes a no-cool call in August.

Two visits a year

A spring cooling tune-up and a fall heating tune-up, scheduled around you.

Written measurements

Every visit ends with a one-page record of the readings we took and what they mean.

Priority scheduling

Members go to the front of the line during peak season.

Discounted repairs

Member pricing on any repair we recommend — and nothing is done without your approval.

What a visit actually includes

Measured, not estimated.

A tune-up isn’t a glance and a filter. Here’s what we check and record on every Comfort Plan visit:

  • Refrigerant charge verified by superheat and subcooling against the manufacturer’s chart — not by “topping off”
  • Temperature split, supply and return air, and outdoor conditions recorded
  • Compressor, fan, and blower amp draw compared to nameplate
  • Run capacitors tested and replaced if out of tolerance
  • Condenser coil washed; evaporator coil, blower wheel, and cabinet seals inspected
  • Electrical connections torqued; contactor, disconnect, and lugs checked for corrosion
  • Drain flushed and float switch tested by actually filling the pan
  • Filter replaced and rack sealed; thermostat run through a full cycle
  • On gas heat: manifold pressure, temperature rise, flame sensor, and CO measured; safeties tested

Why it helps

Small drifts are cheap. Failures aren’t.

A capacitor that’s 10% weak still runs the compressor — hotter, and harder, until it doesn’t. A drain that’s half-clogged still drains — until the one afternoon it backs up into the ceiling. A charge that’s a little low still cools — at a higher bill and a shorter compressor life.

Twice-a-year measured service catches those while they’re a $30 part or a ten-minute fix, keeps the equipment delivering the efficiency it was rated for, and gives you a written history of the system when it’s time to make a repair-or-replace decision.
